Children’s Day at Sukiennice

We were invited to participate in the cocktail party given by the British Embassy to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. We felt honoured by this invitation and perceived it as a token of appreciation for our teaching English and the culture of English speaking countries for so many years. Thank you everyone who has contributed to this distinction. By coincidence the party took place on Children's Day so in addition to official, but warm, speeches delivered by the UK ambassador and the President of Kraków, the bagpipes music and the national anthems of Poland and the UK, there was fruit and great desserts.
